Rosebridge Academy is a classical Christian homeschool curriculum made by Rosebridge Creative. In this policy, “Rosebridge,” “we,” and “us” mean Rosebridge Creative.
This policy covers everything at rosebridge.academy: the public pages, the placement assessment, the student dashboard, the parent dashboard, the reading log, and every magazine. Rosebridge Academy is free while it is in beta.
Questions about your family’s information go to hello@rosebridge.academy. Mailing address: [mailing address to be added]
Rosebridge is built for a parent to use with his or her children. A parent or legal guardian creates the account and adds each student. Your children use Rosebridge while signed in under your account. They do not create accounts of their own, and we never ask them for an email address.
An account holder must be an adult. If we learn that a child has opened an account without a parent, we will delete it.
Answer boxes are open text, so a child can type anything into them. Please teach your child not to type a full name, home address, phone number, or other private details into an answer. We do not scan answers for personal details.
If you join the beta waitlist or the newsletter, we keep your email address and the date you joined. We use it only to send you news about Rosebridge, such as new levels and subjects. Every newsletter will include a way to unsubscribe, and you can also ask us to remove you by writing to hello@rosebridge.academy.
If you write to us, we keep your message and email address so we can answer you.
The placement assessment needs no login and sends nothing to Rosebridge. Your answers stay in your browser tab. If you choose to apply the results to a student, the suggested starting levels travel in the link to your parent dashboard, and they are saved only after you unlock the dashboard with your parent PIN.
We do not use analytics tools, advertising trackers, tracking cookies, or social media pixels.
Rosebridge uses your browser’s own storage for a few practical jobs:
None of this is used to follow you to other websites. When you delete your account, Rosebridge clears this storage on the device you used to delete it.
We use your family’s information to run Rosebridge: to save your child’s work and show it again, to track progress and unlock the next article, to let you review answers, to keep your calendar, to answer problem reports and email, to send password reset emails you ask for, and to send waitlist or newsletter updates if you joined.
We do not use your family’s information for advertising, we do not sell or rent it, and we do not use your child’s work to train artificial intelligence systems.
If Rosebridge Academy ever moves to another organization, we will tell you before your family’s information moves with it, so you have time to download your work or delete your account.
Your family’s account and your children’s work are stored on Google’s cloud servers. Rosebridge Creative works from Mexico and serves families in other countries, so your information may be stored and handled outside the country where you live.
Every page that saves work requires sign-in. The database rules allow a signed-in account to read and write only its own family’s information. Information travels between your browser and our servers over encrypted (HTTPS) connections. The parent PIN keeps parent-only tools out of a child’s reach.
No system is perfectly secure. Choose a password you do not use elsewhere, and write to us at once if you think someone has gotten into your account. If we learn of a breach that affects your family’s information, we will tell you.
We keep your family’s information for as long as your account exists, so your child’s work is there when he or she comes back to it.
When you delete a student or your whole account, here is what happens to the deleted information:
It is removed from the Rosebridge database the moment you confirm, and no one, including Rosebridge, can bring it back. Rosebridge keeps no separate backup copy. Google, which hosts the database, may hold it in its own backup systems for a limited time until those are cleared. Files you have already downloaded stay yours.
When you delete your whole account, your sign-in record is cleared from Google’s backup systems within 180 days.
Everything below is in the parent dashboard under Settings, and you can always write to us instead.
If you write to us with a request, we will answer within 30 days. Depending on where you live, local law may give you more rights over your information. Write to us and we will honor them.
Rosebridge is a curriculum for children, used through a parent’s account. Information about a child reaches us in two ways only: the parent types the child’s name, and the child creates schoolwork while using the magazines.
The magazines link to outside resources chosen for students, such as specific videos, museum collections, and reference sites. We check each link before it goes in, but those sites have their own privacy policies, and we do not control what they collect. Please look over outside sites with your child.
When this policy changes, we will update the date at the top of the page. If a change affects how we use your family’s information, we will email account holders before it takes effect.
